The Story Behind “Hào Khí Hùng Vương”
My school has always been known not only for its creativity but also for its deep-rooted tradition of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.
So when I was appointed as the Vice Head of Organization for the 8th season of Hào Khí Hùng Vương, one of the school’s most long-standing and respected competitions, I felt both the weight of tradition and the excitement of renewal. The event had always been more than a contest; it was a celebration of intellect, spirit, and pride, echoing the legacy of generations of students before us.
My role was to translate that legacy into motion, to ensure that our vision wasn’t just symbolic, but operational. I worked directly and closely with the school’s leadership and Youth Union to design a program that balanced tradition with innovation, from budget allocation to stage management. What moved and satisfied me most were the quiet moments between the spotlights: a contestant whispering encouragement to another; teachers and students cheering side by side;

the pride of seeing tradition passed down with modern confidence.
The event reached over 10,000 social media impressions and was featured on three local media channels, but its real success couldn’t be measured in numbers.

If I had to name the project’s true achievement, it would be this: turning a school competition into a shared space of legacy, ambition, and trust. It taught me that authentic leadership requires both structure and soul, the precision to build systems that work, and the humility to let the team’s collective energy take shape.
